This year we are asking Parent's to sign up to bring team snacks for one of the matches the boys play this year. The signup is on the Google Sheet below and Emily Bruyere can answer questions and coordinate for snacks needing to go out of town.
Generally we try and bring some type of reasonably healthy snacks (fruit, cheese sticks, jerky, granola/protein bars, etc.) The coaches will buy lunches for the boys. Thanks! Signup Sheet available on Google Docs: Signup Here Here is the current schedule for Team Dinners this year:
Team Dinners are setup for both the Boys and Girls teams, along with JV. Dinners are 6:30 - 8 pm. Approximate headcount is typically 30. April 14th ~ Paulsen Family (Abel) ~ 1110 46th St W May 4th ~ Bruyere Family (Carson and Marissa) ~ 6023 Ironwood Dr. May 11th ~ Wells Family (Tanner) ~ 5847 Whispering Woods Dr. May 16th ~ Poepping Family (Lexi) ~ May 23rd or 24th - End of Year Team Party - TBD Let's face it, shopping for tennis racquets in Billings is not ideal as there are few retailers that have equipment. Now that Sports Authority and Big Bear closed, Scheels is one of the few options and the selection is sparse.
Your best bet is probably to go online. Here are three well known tennis stores online that sell racquets, shoes, and other gear. Each also have racquet demo program - for $15-20 they will ship you three racquets to try out for a week and provide packaging to ship them back. Generally a good value if you plan on making an investment in a raquet to last you for several years. 1. Midwest Sports 2. Tennis Warehouse 3. Tennis Express Beginning Jan. 19th
Each Sunday from 6-7 p.m come hit with the Billings West tennis teams. This is a great way to warm up for the 2020 season! Cost is $5 for non-members. Steve Handley from Yellowstone Country Club has several Wilson tennis racquets for sale at a good discount. See attached flier if you are interested.
